The NAR recently completed a systematic review of research which concluded that home ownership contributes strongly to the overall welfare of the community.
The study concludes home owners can expect:
· Higher educational performance of children
· Lower community crime rates
· Lessened welfare dependency among households
· More household participation in civic affairs
