Brick, New Jersey - America's Safest City

In late October 2006, Brick was named the Safest American City in the 13th edition of City Crime Rankings, an annual reference book on crime statistics published by Morgan Quitno Press, a publishing and research firm. Brick has ranked one of the top 5 for the last 6 years. The Safest City Award is based on 6 crime categories – murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor vehicle theft in communities of more than 75,000 people.
