Consumers Still Gravitate to Full-Service

According to a 2006 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 83% of sellers use a full service real estate brokerage to handle their home sale. Nine % use a limited service brokerage and 8% use a minimal service broker, such as only listing the property on the local MLS. Of those who used a full service broker, 71% were very satisfied, 24% somewhat satisfied. Fifty percent of sellers using minimal service say they were dissatisfied with their experience.
