Real Estate and the Internet ~ New Report

The National Association of Realtors® recently completed a study on the effects of the internet on real estate activity.

80% of buyers begin their search for a home online
95% are looking for property
4% are looking for an agent to work with
29% of buyers found their home on the internet
37% found their home through print advertising
88% of consumers use email to communicate with their agents
78% of buyers will not look at listings without pictures
98% of buyers expect multiple photos and virtual tours
